Cancellation of Brest 2020 event.

It’s now official, Brest 2020, the major international maritime festival that was planned to take place from 10th to 16th July 2020 in the city of Brest, Brittany, France, had to be cancelled due to the present sanitary crisis.
Brest maritime festival, which takes place every 4 years, is one of the biggest maritime festivals in the world. More than 1000 heritage ships were expected this year from all over the world, with also a lot of activities planned in the city.
It is not clear yet if the festival will be postponed or purely cancelled, as coordinating the gathering of all these ships at the same time in the same place is all but easy.
This cancellation is a big deception. For all the organisers of course, who put a lot of passion and energy in the preparation. For us also, as we already planned to be there on a sailing boat to share this exceptional event in good company.
We will keep you tuned for any information update.
